Multi-polar radiofrequency (RF) uses a unique algorithm to transmit homogeneous heating over multiple layers of tissue, allowing faster heat increase and easier maintenance of therapeutic temperature. This results in greater efficiency and greater patient safety. Due to the homogeneous heating, the procedure no longer requires local cooling agents and the patients describe the treatment experience as a pleasant one.
The effect of Multi Polar Radio Frequency is amplified by Pulsed Electro Magnetic Fields (PEMF), a non-thermal technology, emitted by the electrodes of the applicators. PEMF has been shown to be effective in triggering skin regenerative processes and has been used in conventional medicine for decades.
(MP)2 intensifies collagen synthesis through two independent mechanisms, RF Multi-Polar (thermal) and PEMF (non-thermal). Radiofrequency stimulates fibroblasts directly, while PEMF induces fibroblast proliferation by releasing FGF-2 growth factor. Together they work to increase collagen synthesis. All four applicators are powered by proprietary technology (MP)2 with the synergistic combination between multi-polar radio frequency (RF) fields and pulsed electromagnetic fields (PEMF). OctiPolar™ and DiamondPolar™ applicators are best suited for tightening skin and reducing wrinkles. The 4D Body and 4D Face applicators are equipped with a new VariPulse™ technology, which makes them more effective for body contouring and cellulite reduction.
Before the actual procedure, we will evaluate the skin and the area(s) to be treated to recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
The treatment lasts between 45 minutes and 3 hours, depending on the treated areas.
The procedure does not require recovery time, and the patient can return to normal activities immediately after the procedure. Radiofrequency technology has proven safe for any skin type.
The results of this treatment begin to be observed from the first sitting. To obtain the desired results it is recommended to repeat the procedure weekly for 6-8 weeks. Subsequently, a maintenance session once a month is recommended in order to maintain the results obtained.
